Three End of Summer Home Projects to Tackle

We’re already almost through August which means the end of the summer is quickly approaching! Before the kids head back to school and your schedule gets too busy again, you may consider working on a few last-minute projects around your home while the weather is still nice!

Clean Your Gutters and Invest in Gutter Guards
Fall is just around the corner and before we know it, leaves will be falling once again! Get ahead of the game this year and clean your gutters in preparation for the fall so you aren’t looking at a back-up situation! You may even consider investing in gutter guards once your gutters are free from leaves and debris, to keep them clean throughout the fall and winter months!

Replace or Re-Seal Drafty Windows and Doors
Before the cooler months arrive, it might be a great time to start replacing windows or doors in your home. If you’re looking to keep costs down, new weatherstripping will help keep inside air in and outside air out. While temperatures are on the mild side, now is a great time to re-seal your home!

Pressure Wash and Stain Your Home and Deck
While the weather is still mild, now is a great time to break out the pressure washer and wash your home’s exterior. While you’re at it, clean off your deck and consider staining and sealing the deck to protect it from the winter’s elements!
